YOUNG BLACK ENTREPRENEUR MAGAZINE

What year did you become a member of Delta Sigma Theta?

What is the name of the chapter where you were initiated and what is your line name?

I was initiated on May 3rd, 1992 into the Iota Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.-University of South Carolina. Our line is called The 38 Hidden Treasures and my line name is “Champagne”.

What attracted you to the sorority?

When I was a freshman on campus, I saw this group of young ladies hosting a service project on campus.  At that time I was volunteering for Meals On Wheels delivering dinners to the edlerly in the downtown Columbia area. I loved how these young women were serving the community as well and I knew I would fit right in with their initiatives.

What did you learn from becoming a Delta that has been instrumental to your success as an entrepreneur?

I have lived both my personal and business life in alignment with our sorority’s five strong thrusts.  Each day I am on a mission to impact people’s lives for all the freedoms that were promised to us.  I have never strayed from the thrusts and the consistency of practicing and implementing the thrusts in my daily habits is why I can stand on my success proudly.

How has the Delta network impacted you as a business owner?

I have hundreds of Deltas in my company and we have an undying sisterhood that focuses on service in the communities in which we live through the PlanNet Cares Foundation, which provides necessities to homeless women and children living in shelters.  As we build generational wealth, we are giving back to those who are in critical times in their lives.

What is the name of your business and what do you do?

Founded by Donald D. Bradley, PlanNet Marketing is partnered with InteleTravel, the original at-home travel agency, recognized by every major travel supplier, including the best of the best resorts and hotel brands, cruise lines, vacation companies, car rental agencies and tour operators all over the world!  As a PlanNet Marketing Rep, you will offer the InteleTravel home-based travel agent business opportunity to anyone who wants to turn a passion for travel into a flexible source of income and reward.

In addition, Deborah is the Public Relations Vice-President of PlanNet Marketing, Inc. and alongside her husband, the Co-Director of the PlanNet Cares Foundation, Inc.  The foundation ensures homeless women and children living in shelters receive what they need during a very critical time in their lives.

How do you use your business to live out the five point thrust of our sorority?

First and foremost, we educate people of all walks of life to have multiple streams of income and that retirement is about income, not age. The economical impact is  entrepreneurship. It creates financial freedom and time freedom and allows one to live their lives on their own terms.  Creating generational wealth is our main focus. When it comes to International Awareness and Involvement, my company is not only headquartered in the United States, we have over 70,000 independent reps in the United Kingdom, Mexico and all of the Caribbean Islands as well. We have leaders on the ground showing people how to become financially independent and giving back to their communities. When it comes to mental and physical health both our company and foundation host and participate in our very own version of “March Madness” basketball tournament, Golf Tournament and a Fun/Mile 5K walk to raise funds for our homeless women and children living in shelters.  Philanthropy keeps us grounded and reminds us all that one day we can have it all and the next day lose it all.  We have a business that promotes healthy competition and it is good for the soul.  Lastly, I live in Atlanta, Ga and I supported our beloved Delta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms to be elected in  2017. We are in the race of lives again to elect Stacey Abrams as our new Governor and we solidified our positions in the Senate by electing Raphael Warnock and  Jon Osoff. My most valuable political weapon is my Right To Vote and I will protect it by all means necessary.

            .

What does it mean for you to give back?

The PlanNet Cares Foundation gives back all year round.  We have several campaigns that ensure we can provide food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, bedding, book bags, school supplies and financial assistance to the shelters that house homeless women and children.  We also have installed libraries in Atlanta, Houston, and London, UK.  Because of our generous donors, we are able to replenish these necessities and give with our time as well.  We have raised over $200,000 in the past two and a half years.

Why should people do business with you?

If you are sick and tired of being laid off or didn’t get the promotion you thought was yours,  you should own a PlanNet Marketing home-based business.  If you love your job and you want to supplement your income, you should own a PlanNet Marketing home-based business.  If you want more time freedom and financial freedom to live life as you imagined, you should own a PlanNet Marketing home-based business.  At PlanNet Marketing, we show you how to earn a living by living. It’s fun, it’s social, it’s ownership of an online travel agency.

When we become Deltas our goal is to make the sorority proud, to become a notable Delta. What are you doing or have you done that has you on the path to becoming a notable Delta, what accomplishment are you the most proud for people to know about?

My path to becoming notable as a Delta is helping people realize their dreams by owning a business that changes your life trajectory and builds generational wealth…world-wide.  We have created documented millionaires and six-figure earners and will continue to do so, God-willing for many years to come.

Which Delta inspires you and why? (this does not have to be “famous” person)

Soror and Congresswoman, Lucy Mcbath inspires me. After the untimely death of her son, she ran for office in Georgia. She showed pure fortitude and strength during her campaign.  I am proud to be her Soror and I am grateful with how she put herself, authentically and unapolgetically, on display for the world to take notice, that we as women and minorities will not be denied.

Give three words that describe your impact on the globe.
